Women on trek in the Himalayas

It is a completely different experience to do a trek in the mountains with some of your closest girlfriends. It’s the best kind of break, the perfect time to bond and pick either a laid back camping trip or challenge yourself on one of our tougher hikes!

As part of our women empowerment effort, we’re literally trying to show the society how the women on our team from the Tirthan Valley are equally capable of choosing any profession they pick, including a demanding one like trekking.

Whether you’re a solo woman traveller or trekking with a group of friends, we can arrange a trek for you where you’ll be accompanied by at least two women staff members, guiding you along the way, sharing wonderful stories from the region and helping you with any doubts you may have.

Our women guides have an innate understanding of nature, are well- trained in trekking and handling equipment and are some of the kindest, most helpful people you’ll come across.

Another reason we encourage our guides to meet and travel with wonderful women from around the world is to broaden their horizons and help them gain a different perspective about the world, get inspired by our travellers who join us from different walks of life so they too can lead by example a change in a typically male-dominated community.
